Calendar — Seeing All Modules in a Single View
Management calendar — manual events (meeting, event, reservation, reminder) + automatic sources (maintenance, announcement, survey, dues due date) in a single monthly view. Filters, drag-drop, and marking as completed.
The Calendar module brings together the manager's weekly and monthly work plan in Apt Yönet in a single view. Events you can manually add (meeting, event, reservation, reminder) and events that come automatically from other modules (maintenance, announcement, survey, dues due date) appear side by side in color.
Where to open?
From the left menu, Management → Calendar. The page is in three sections:
- Top KPI bar (4 cards) — This Month, This Week, Today, Overdue.
- Left column — Filters — Manual Types and Automatic Sources (sticky).
- Right column — Calendar — FullCalendar view (month / week / day switch).
At the upper right are the New Event and Refresh (refresh icon) buttons.
1. Adding a manual event
Press the New Event button. The modal opens:
Basic information
- Type — 5 options:
- Meeting — Complex management meetings, owners' discussions.
- Event — Social events, celebrations, festivals.
- Reservation — Common area reservations (meeting hall, social facility, parking).
- Reminder — Personal reminders, task tracking, appointment notes.
- Other — Unclassified events.
- Title — short name of the event.
- Description — optional detail.
- Location — location information (Complex Hall / Garden / Online, etc.).
Date and time
- Start Date/Time — required.
- End Date/Time — optional (if empty, it's a single point).
- All Day switch — if on, time is not asked, reserved all day.
Repetition (optional)
For regular events (e.g., management meeting every Monday):
- Repetition — None / Daily / Weekly / Monthly / Yearly.
- Repeat End — final date (e.g., 3 months later).
Target audience (optional)
If it is an event for residents (e.g., complex iftar), a target can be selected: All residents / specific blocks / specific units + Owner and Tenant filter. If there is a calendar in the resident panel (in Phase 2), it will appear from here.
2. Moving a manual event by dragging
On the calendar, click a manual event (one you created), hold it, drag it to another day, and drop it. The date is automatically updated. Automatic source events cannot be dragged (they come from the source module); they need to be changed from the relevant module.
3. Marking an event as completed
Click on a manual event — a popover (small pop-up window) appears. There is a Completed button. When you click it, the event is crossed out and switches to the "completed" color. If you click again, the mark is removed.
4. Filters — Which events will I see?
In the left column, there are two groups of filters:
Manual Types
5 checkboxes (Meeting / Event / Reservation / Reminder / Other). You can close what you don't need. At the top is the "All" link — opens/closes all with a single click.
Automatic Sources
Events from other modules — each is a separate checkbox:
- Old Records — Archive calendar records transferred from the past system (read-only, gray color).
- Maintenance — Upcoming maintenance dates from the Periodic Maintenance module (elevator/fire/natural gas, etc. — blue color).
- Announcement — Publish/end dates from the Announcements module (orange color).
- Survey — Start/end dates from the Surveys module (purple color).
Dues Due Date — 3 sub-states
The final payment dates of dues accruals are separated into 3 colors:
- Overdue (red dot) — dues whose due date has passed and are still unpaid.
- Last Day (yellow dot) — dues whose last payment day is today.
- Not Yet Due (blue dot) — dues whose due date is in the future.
5. View modes
At the top of the calendar there are 3 views: Month / Week / Day. Navigate back and forth with the direction arrows; the Today button returns to the current day. The month/year is written in the date title.
6. Refresh — Are automatic sources current?
The system keeps 5 minutes of memory for automatic source events (Maintenance/Announcement/Survey/Dues) (for fast loading). To instantly switch to current data, press the Refresh button (refresh icon) at the upper right — it empties the memory and recalculates.
7. Deleting or editing an event
Double-click on a manual event or press Edit from the popover — the edit modal opens, change the fields and save. The same popover also has a Delete button (there is no Edit/Delete for automatic source events — change from the source module).
Practical suggestions
- Weekly plan — Open the week view on Monday morning, do a comprehensive glance at work tracking.
- Categorize manual events — Use a separate type for Meeting, separate for Reminder; it makes it easier to focus with filters later.
- Clean view by closing automatic sources — To see only your manual events, you can close other sources from the filter column.
- Regularly follow the Dues Due Date color — If you see Overdue (red) events, immediately switch to the collection action.
Next step
We have covered all communication and decision management modules. You can move on to the next group (Site Services — Maintenance, Vehicles, Fixed Assets); the guides there cover modules such as Periodic Maintenance, Vehicles, and Fixed Assets in detail.
